Ministry Position Opening: Lead Pastor
The Chinese Alliance Church, located in Fort Myers, Florida is seeking a Lead Pastor to provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to our congregation. We desire a leader who will develop and articulate vision, strategy, and goals in conjunction with our church leaders and work to move the church towards discipleship, evangelism, and outreach resulting in spiritual growth and community outreach.
The Chinese Alliance Church is a congregation of about 90 people. The congregation speaks in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. There are some children and youth, but the body consists largely of middle-aged to senior adults.
This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Bible or Theology. The candidate must be able to preach in Mandarin and communicate in Cantonese and English. The ideal candidate would have five or more years of church leadership experience and must be able to meet licensing and ordination requirements with The Christian & Missionary Alliance.
Fort Myers is one of Southwest Florida’s fastest growing cities. With its world-class beaches, resorts, golfing, museums, and shopping, it’s no wonder this is a major tourist destination in Florida.
